Diya is less a trained interrogator than she is a skilled negotiator, and with the way this Pearl is babbling on, she's almost tempted to have one of the officers in the room direct the conversation. But this isn't a standard military interrogation, and they don't know what questions to ask. Diya merely fans her hands over the table, palm up. Subtlety is, alas, often lost on fast-penta subjects.
