She demonstrates with a breath that expands her chest, but her hand remains still where it currently rests.

Again, she breathes deeply, but this time with a very visible rise and fall of her hand. It's easier to mark the difference with visuals, she's found, and of course Jasper will be able to feel the difference for herself.
