That's surprising. On my world it was all pretty new to us, aliens and other worlds... but it sounds like they've had the technology to explore the stars as it were for much longer. [Technically, all the aliens she knew had come to visit Earth themselves, but the point still remained that it seemed somewhat odd. She can't help wondering if that's a lie, if there were other species left as ashes and forgotten to time. No way to tell, really.
