Beth doesn't like it any more than he does. It's something she's had to live with so long--this is a walker, don't get bitten--that trying to cover it up is a frustrating, probably pointless idea. Eventually she'd say something that'd make people wonder, anyway. And she'd like to talk to people about it. It feels more normal than refusing to say a word about home.
