Both of those things get a look of a surprise out of Sonia, and the second throws her off her guard. She thinks about the conversation she had with Byerly earlier, about all the things they had shared. Still, that does get a morbid little laugh out of her.

"I...don't actually know," she admits, and actually looks a little sheepish. "They were all soldiers. I'm sure some of them must still be alive...ah, and it's on me again."

She takes a drink with a wry look. "I've never sung with an audience before."
