It's enough to see Rani sitting up. After a week of watching her sleep, Beth's perfectly willing to stand around holding an imaginary sword, adjusting her stance the way she's told to. She thrusts her weapon at an equally imaginary enemy, for Rani's benefit, and grins.
"I haven't decided yet." Rapier or broadsword, sword-fighting as a whole or archery, fighting or learning to set traps or anything else she's picked up lately. She feels like she's learned more in the last month than she has in years. "It's just nice to know what you're doing."
Killing walkers is a matter of stabbing blindly (and occasionally flailing a little). Killing people hasn't been much different. But this is, even if stabbing swords at people feels strangely staged to her in comparison.
