He takes after his mother a lot too, but there's something of the Vorkosigan look to him. The sharp lines of his jaw, set by both the shape of his face and the stubbornness in his expression. If he weren't so distorted, the resemblance might be even more obvious. (But all his stockiness was robbed by his poor health; Mark, in some ways, looks more a Vorkosigan than he does.)
