When Lapis shoved at him, he had little problem standing his ground and it was more like trying to move a mountain for all the sway he gave her. At least the person--woman if he were to gauge by the timber of her voice--had enough sense not to start screaming.
"I apologize, I did not see you. There is a patrol coming this way so please be quiet." The voice was distinctly male and pitched low so that it didn't travel beyond them.
