It feels akin to trying to find the exit to a room by wandering out into the center and hoping a door springs into being out of nowhere. And yet.
"I certainly can't tell you what you should believe. But I would hope you're a person of sense, and could reason it out yourself given enough time to see what's going on here." She waves one delicate hand dismissively. "If not, I suppose you'll leave as well. If this pattern continues, doubtlessly someone else will need the bed."
