Daryl hauls her in, because of course he does. She's not expecting it, she still hasn't gotten back the weight she lost last month, when there was nothing to eat, and even if neither of those things were true, he's stupidly strong when he wants to be. For a moment, she's just wide-eyed, her thoughts taking an extra breath to leave the trap.

"Hey--stop it," she complains, realizing as his hand presses against her skin what he's trying to do. "Your hand's freezing, you know. You're not gonna get my real temperature."
