Lapis waits until she can hear the soft echo of voices, and the tell of foot steps before she ducks out of the room, motioning for Pearl to follow close behind her. They have to stay just out of sight until the guards meet up with the other shift, the other hall that she wants to use is being patrolled, and if they want any amount of time, they'll have to slip in just in time when the shifts meet to change.
