She lets him put an arm around her, even leans her head against his shoulder a little. The more they talk, the more she actually thinks about how she feels instead of pushing past it, the more she feels the weight of what she's been trying to ignore. She coughs, stopping where she is for a moment as she tenses, folding over a little with the effort.
"Yeah," she says, once she feels like she can breathe past that heavy feeling in her chest. That, at least, wasn't there when she woke up. It's new, and she dislikes it--but not as much as the way Daryl's voice seems to take on new gruffness in his attempt to reassure them both. "You only had it for a couple days."
