[ He sees that edge in her expression -- and Natasha, if this is new to you, then it's all the more reason for him to press the point. If he were in there with you, he would be watching for you, but since he can't? He'll try and make you watch for yourself. ]

Good. [ A nod. He's worked his way through most of the cipher, now, standing up a little straighter, still listening to her even as he scans through the rest of what's written on the paper. ] Keep me updated on that exit strategy.

[ Because he's going to want to make sure you have one. And he listens to the rest, Sei, her former relationship with Diya -- they do lack the cultural context, that he can probably get with Miles, after he speaks to him, just to be sure. He listens to the rest, glancing up at her with the corner of his mouth quirking upward ever so slightly at that last detail. ]

I'll be sure to tell the General. [ Back to business, though. ] I'll be able to give you a better idea of what that context with Sei and Diya might be next time, but for now just try to read it as best you can. Don't do anything too risky, with pressing them or driving at each other -- your focus is on informing, not on acting, unless you've orders otherwise. I'll need as much information as you can about those labs in the next drop.

There's a few people I know of besides the haut I want you to keep an eye on. [ A pause, here. Symmetra and Kurt had been his first thoughts, but there is another, of course, someone else he wants to ask about to confirm his own suspicions. Especially relevant to this situation with Sei and Diya. He's sure Natasha is perfectly capable of manipulating her way around people, but different angles of approach might be helpful, and Wash is damned sure that Byerly would excel at that, if that was what he really was doing with the Cetagandans. And so, after that moment of deliberation; ] Tell me about Byerly Vorrutyer.

[ Surely as the most recent defector, even without all of Wash's suspicions, Natasha must've taken stock of him already -- though Wash has a feeling that she might share his suspicions. Or in all probability, she'd known where her message had come from. ]
