[ Wash, to his credit, just -- listens. He's quiet the whole time, just occasionally nodding, something flickering across his expression here and there but he's clearly more than content to just sit and listen to what Ratchet has to tell him. There's a slight flicker in his expression when Ratchet says he's not human, and of all things, the other thing that gets a bit more of a reaction out of him is the way Ratchet says York deserved to know.

Otherwise, he just attentive, pausing for a while once Ratchet's done just to make sure he's actually said his piece. Aliens, unsurprising, he's met aliens, after all. Being turned human, also unsurprising, he's been through this with Jasper. Fifteen feet tall and made of metal and being five and a half million years old, okay, surprising. But nothing he can't handle.

There's a murmur of something at the back of his mind, a whisper that this can't possibly be real, are you fucking kidding me, David, but he ignores it. ]

You're doing a pretty good job at this whole being human thing, then. [ It's been a couple of months and you're getting laid, good for you, Ratchet. ] So -- what are you, if there's a name for it? What would the humans you knew call you?
