Sonia's still struggling with the news of Byerly's betrayal -- it had devastated her beyond words, coming from someone she'd come to trust so much -- but the lightening weather helps, and so does having things to do. She spends as much of her time in the village as she can, helping them with their small community farm. It's not her forte, exactly, but she knows a little at least, and she's willing to teach any outsiders a few things.

Mostly she's just trying to keep her chin up, be as visible and chipper in the camp as possible, because if she can, then maybe she can help keep morale up. These days, she'd like to think so. It gives her something to focus on.

The most celebrated pastime among Vor is drinking, and Sonia is no exception. When the soldiers break out the wine and the mead, the Princess joins right in, eager not only to blow off some steam after the last few very stressful months, but also to distract from the still-open wound that is Byerly's betrayal. Whether you get fun drunk Sonia or sad drunk Sonia is a real toss up, but Sonia's alcohol tolerance is deceptively high, and if you challenge her to a drinking contest you might actually lose.
