How does a damn corporation come to take custody of a child? Wash just thinks of the Spartans, of the rumors surrounding them. Loyal to the end. Children are so much easier to mold. Part of him is wary of jumping to conclusions so quickly, when he still knows precious little about Symmetra's world, but. She'd said it herself, that the company they were investigating was clean, not to mention how questionable it was for them to be using her ( an architect in their employ ) to investigate like that to begin with. If Vishkar was behind the explosion, then surely it goes against everything Symmetra seems to believe in.

"People justify terrible things in all kinds of ways." Wash has done that himself, after all. "It sounds like Vishkar caused a great deal of the damage you say they want to prevent. Doesn't sound like the way, to me. Or at least, not the way you want."

Vishkar. Not her. He's going to keep those separate, and quite pointedly. It's certainly a way to get things done, but not the way she wants to get things done. Not from the way he's heard her talk about wanting to help people. She was a builder. A creator. She didn't sound like she wanted to have to tear anything down to do it.

"Do the ends justify those means?"
