To live a life dishonoured is an even slower one - but worse than that is to have your body left to rot, festering, ripped apart by animals. We believe that the fastest way for the soul to reach its next left is for the body to be burned. If all things were as they should be, your family does this after you die. But in times of war, your enemies most certainly will not, that much is certain, so they do it to themselves to ensure it.
