Well, I never knew the man. I think I was about three years old when he was murdered most foully. So the only reason I'd have to weep for him myself - which is acceptable when it's about defilement, yes, but very off-putting, just very uncomfortable - would be for the sake of our family ties. And as my family ties were severed long ago, disinheriting and all that, that just wouldn't make sense.

Besides, Ges isn't the one I'd weep over. The one that I'd get angry about would by my aunt. Miles' father's first wife. Murdered by Piotr Vorkosigan personally.
