What she means is that she hopes it is, but there's no need to let Sonia know just how many variables there are here they can't control for. Once things start going to Hell, then they can talk about it.
For now, she's just enjoying the silence, keeping her steps quick enough to cover as much ground as they can, but not so much to put too much strain on Sonia. That would come later.
