The gene therapy has...not been going as hoped. Sei is especially frustrated, which gives Diya some small shred of schadenfreude, but she doesn't want to see these trials fail. Whatever Sei's purposes...Diya still isn't sure of them, isn't sure just how much of Sei's interests and intentions reflect those of the Star Crèche, but without contacting the Dowager Empress directly there's no way to know. And she'd have to do it without Sei's knowledge, and even then...even then, it would be weeks before a return message would arrive. She knows Sei isn't being entirely honest with her -- she just doesn't know what truths, exactly, are being obscured.

And Diya can take no personal joy in Natasha's results, not when it'll have a negative effect on their other trials with Natasha. She strides through the hall with her usual grace, seeming more like gliding than walking, to find Natasha. They'd already seen the development of the hemophilia, but now the secondary test results are in. She's already contacted Natasha via wristcom to meet her in the medbay; as Diya turns into the corridor leading to the main medbay area, she expects she'll be seeing Natasha soon.
