If asked, Lapis would absolutely deny the fact that she's looking to Pearl for some kind of leadership ability. Pearl is the lowest ranked one of them here by Homeworld standards, but she also has a lot more experience than Lapis with the whole rebellion thing.

Besides, Lapis would never seek a leadership position for herself, and Jasper... Well, Jasper probably wouldn't agree that they even needed to do something about this in the first place.
