Sonia's stomach tightens a little at their collective response -- she sees the logic in it, but Sonia is ruled by her emotions, and for just a moment, her imagination runs unchecked. She shoves it back, bites her lip and nods, trying to hear Byerly and Natasha over the loud thudding of her own heart.

"Just -- schedules. Where they are, guard changes." She'd been trying to repay Sonia for helping with the migraines, but Sonia senses it was more of an apology than an expression of sheer gratitude. She licks dry lips. "I, um -- I think I remember most of it. I don't know, I -- I wasn't planning on..."

She goes abruptly silent at the distant sound of footsteps down the corridor around the corner. Guard or off-duty? She doesn't know. She just freezes and looks at Byerly and Natasha in questioning alarm, eyes wide.
