[ It is definitely getting to him, more than he likes to admit, but well. ]
I've dealt with worse -- but it's usually just me taking the brunt of it. Not anyone else.
[ And that's the problem, of course. He handles personal insults far, far better than he handles jeering and insults against people he likes. ]
