Just like Miles in Piotr's stables. Had the man seen himself in his grandson, then? Surely he must have ... no wonder Piotr had warmed to Miles after he'd shown interest in the horses. He keeps his face tilted away so that the fondness in his expression doesn't show, but his tone warms all the same.

"I'd say he had the right thought," says Miles. "Prove you could put in the hard work first." He wishes he could share his own memories, but - well, he'll have to be careful. Vague. "Though, I think I'd prefer the horse to the sword, myself."
