This Tarn, the familiar one, is much more reassuring. It must have just been a fluke, she thinks. Everyone has their moments.

She pulls back with another sigh, and glances around at the crowd absentmindedly. "I started out there, you know. The Barrayarans. They're the ones that pulled me out of the snow, back when the wormhole first spat me out here."
