He's just barely gotten back from his own portion of the mission - almost certainly bruised and bloodied, or at least unhappy after an encounter with Tarn - but the sight of Sonia safe in camp is enough to send his heart soaring. Sonia is back. Sonia is safe, and away from Cetaganda. He could have endured much worse and still come out overjoyed with this as his reward.
He makes his way through the throng of people, rescuers and soldiers alike. "Sonia!" he calls, waving a hand towards her so that she might get a glimpse of him before he has to jostle his way through all these stupid tall people. If not for them, he might have considered throwing himself bodily into his great aunt's arms. "Sonia! Are you alright?" Is she injured? Did the Cetagandans lay a finger on her? Not that there's anything he can do about either of those things now. His gaze immediately flickers up to the spot where Tarn had hit her with a stunner to see if the bruise is still there.
