Lapis waits quietly as Sei leaves, ducks her head back in before she can be spotted by the woman, and presses herself firmly against the door frame.

Sei and her accompanying Ba's footsteps eventually fade, and Lapis waits a moment longer just in case, and then ducks back into the hallway. Though Lapis is naturally light on her feet, she doesn't make any attempt to hide her considerably light footsteps as she walks into the lab where Sei is.

"Sounds like you've got a difficult choice to make, Doctor."
