Am I supposed to be a mind-reader? How can I say what she thought?
[ Which is a rather absurd question coming from someone who essentially is a mind-reader - someone whose job is to guess at others' weaknesses. ]
But Mamere was worthless, Father was worse, and I don't need to point out my defects. But Nadine was always...very good.
