If it weren't for his run-in with Byerly he would be a lot more sure about this. He's a trained soldier, a spec-ops agent, has a lot more experience with this flesh-bag of a body than Tarn has. A stunner levels the playing field. He could disarm him, if he was close enough, but that would involve getting close enough. He could goad him, maybe. But he doesn't like the idea of anything happening here, where there are too many villagers around . . .

A smile, and he moves forward towards him, watching the whole time, ready to react if he moves. Until he's close enough to clasp a hand on his shoulder.
