It's likely not absolute most of the time, though it probably still is sometimes. Regardless, that's still the aim. No reason to compromise on the ideal. Whether or not they actually do end up trusting me that far, they can, and then it's just a choice.

There's no point if it isn't voluntary. Forcing obedience isn't the same as being given it -- you live to serve, don't you? Willingly. Wouldn't be the same if you were conscripted on threat of your life or something.
