Jasper snorts, because Lapis is right; the idea of accusing a Diamond of corruption is ridiculous, because by the very definition of the rules of their society a Diamond's authority is absolute and nothing they do can be corrupt. There is nothing beyond them to which they can be held accountable. For her part, Jasper has had her doubts about the total perfection of their leadership since she came under Yellow Diamond's command... but she wouldn't dream of challenging it.
