The first thing he remembers is being glad he didn't forget to put on his shoes that day. It varies depending on where they are, so to wind up in the snow on land... He doesn't like it, but there are a lot of other things he doesn't particularly like either; it doesn't make a difference if it's one over the other. All he can do is wrap his arms around himself and look around, try to get an idea of where he and all these other people might be. Egil doesn't recognize it at all, it's definitely not home, and he sort of jerks around in York's direction when he suddenly has a fit, wary but making an effort to be concerned.
