Generic, simple, could be anything, alien construct to ambigious colony outpost, except that Wash is paying attention and Duv had just asked if Chorus was part of an empire, or were independent settlers, and, well.
Wash eyes him carefully. He seems to know far more about what's going on here than anyone else he's spoken to so far, save for the Cetagandans, but they haven't been very forthcoming on information. There's no reason to really distrust him any more than any of the other -- exotics, as it were, but Wash also isn't quite sure what to do with the information he's hearing, how much he should say.
"Neither," he says finally. "Chorus was a UEG Outer Colony, and I've never heard of the Nexus."
