The warming weather is a welcome change, and it puts Piotr in a better mood -- relatively speaking to his moods, of course. But Ezar's return to camp has certainly lightened his mood to new heights -- Piotr is dour by default, but you might even catch him exchanging a friendly smile with Ezar. He is Piotr's friend as well as his aide-de-camp, and it shows. I know, I know. Piotr having friends is weird.
But other than that, it's business as usual. The flu epidemic has brought on a whole new host of concerns, morale among them, but others much more pressing. He takes great care to stay away from sickbay -- not out of loathing nor discompassion for his wife, but because he knows he can't afford to get sick, not now of all times.
a. i called up the moon for a little consultation The intelligence they have on the Cetagandans' wormhole research is enough to make it significant, but there's still much they don't know, and without more information it's hard to make a sound judgment. Piotr spends long nights in the war tent with Ezar and Xav and his general staff, but it's intelligence they're really lacking. If you think you might know someone sympathetic on the other side, or risk trying to make a connection, Piotr will hear you out.
b. if you pray to god for rain, don't you complain about the lightning Even with the flu epidemic ravaging the camp, military operations must go on, and Piotr will send any able-bodied soul willing to pick up a sword. If you've got something to report -- or maybe you want to ask the General something -- he is almost always in the war tent these days. But if you're sick, he'll turn you away immediately.
c. if you're asking for directions, don't you complain about the distance (closed to ezar) Piotr is glad to have his aide-de-camp back, and to see his old friend again. He really is. But that doesn't mean he isn't still thoroughly annoyed after the little chat he'd had with Negri.
He checks the area around the war tent for Negri, but the little bugger's awfully good at hiding, and if he's anything like Piotr suspects he is, Ezar will have put him out of sight. So as it is, he just waits at the mouth of the tent for Ezar, eyebrows raised.

"Got time for a chat, Captain?"
